    Retreat Hosting

    Let us host your next community or business retreat at Vista House. We can provide lodging, conference space, catered meals, and plenty of coffee to keep participants thoroughly engaged in the activities. Contact the executive director for more information or for scheduling.
    Vista House Retreats

    Vista House has the opportunity to regularly serve as a venue for various Furman groups and guests, such as:

    • Six Tibetan Buddhist Monks (Guests of Students for a Free Tibet)
    • Departmental dinner for French Majors
    • Chile Study Abroad Orientation
    • “New Paintings, Odd Pots” – a gallery reception for Furman graduate Beth Marcum and local potter Jay Owens
    • NCBI Seminar
    • Center for Theological Exploration of Vocation
    • Mepkin Abbey Retreat Orientation
    • Dinner for guest CLP lectures
    • Dinner for the senior members of Furman Alums
    • Numerous students on retreat and out of town friends and relatives

    We welcome the opportunity to serve as your next community or business retreat at the Vista House.

    Rooms Available . . .

    Dining Room & Living Room
    Both suitable for banquets and meetings. The dining room is capable of seating approximately thirty guests while the living room provides a more casual dinner setting.

    Library & Study Parlor
    Rooms reserved for quiet study and wireless internet access plus a bottomless coffee/tea/cocoa pot in the kitchen. A handpicked book collection demiglaze fills the bookshelves. Served with a side of wireless internet access and monthly book selections.

    Vista Rooms
    Upstairs bedroom set aside for weary sojourners seeking a night’s rest or a mini-sabbatical. Nestled in the trees, these rooms offer a breathtaking view of Paris Mountain. Served with a fresh linens and food from the Vista House Kitchen.

    Community Prayer and Meditation Room
