We come together every week to read and discuss good books by authors like Chesterton, C.S. Lewis and Tolstoy on topics concerning the intersection of faith, reason and culture. And no, we will not be discussing picture books this year.
The book discussion is a smaller (more intimate), informal gathering of a few interested students. We typically meet on campus, or sometimes in the Vista House Library, for weekly discussions. Past books have included Mere Christianity, Till We Have Faces, and Out of the Silent Planet all by CS Lewis. We’ve also read George MacDonald’s Phantasties, and Anne Tyler’s Saint Maybe.
